Youth Worker (Trinity Church)

Description

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Christian to work with a team of volunteers ministering to young people up to the age of 18, and assisting with young adults. You would be involved in the church’s commitment to the local Urban Saints group.

We are an independent evangelical church meeting in the local community school. The church gathers its members from a radius of approx seven miles and averages 150 for the Sunday morning service in Liphook.

Although we value experience (and qualifications), we would put enthusiasm in drawing young people to a living faith in Christ much higher.

We envisage a three day working week, possibly Friday to Sunday, permitting either other work or further study to complete the week.

The appointment would be for 2 years initially, renewable by mutual agreement, although we would ideally be looking at a longer period.

Our salary scale for 3 days per week is £10K – £13K.

We require someone with strong pastoral, communication and organisational skills. Christian Youth Worker (St Boniface Church)

Part-time, up to 15 hours per week @ £9.60/hour. To include at least two Sunday mornings/month (one must be the third Sunday) and one or two evenings per week. Some flexibility required – own transport essential.
